M&S shoppers hail ‘flattering’ £33 linen dress that ‘doesn’t crease up

webnexttech | M&S shoppers hail 'flattering' £33 linen dress that 'doesn't crease up

A linen dress sold at Marks and Spencer that “looks good after hours of wearing” has sent fashion fans into a frenzy. In warmer weather, fashion fans tend to opt for clothes made from linen that’s known to easily crease. But one dress made from the fabric can stay wrinkle free all day, according to happy buyers. The M&S Linen Rich V-Neck Knee Length Shift Dress in navy costs £32.50 and is available in short, regular and long fits in sizes eight to 24. With 16 being purchased from the M&S website in the last two days, some of the longer lengths are flying off the virtual shelf. As it’s a relatively new addition to the M&S collection it has only received a handful of online shopping reviews, but many of them are full of praise. Its online description reads: “Stay cool on those off-duty days in this linen-rich shift dress. It has a timeless popover design and is cut in an easy regular fit. The hem sits at a knee length for an elegant look, while a v-shaped neck provides feminine appeal.” Made from 55 percent flax and 45 percent responsibly-sourced viscose, the fibres in this product are said to be produced and spun using wood from responsibly managed forests. Machine-washable at 40°C delicate, it’s best not to tumble dry this dress, Birmingham Live reports. In the reviews, one happy customer said: “This dress is very flattering, hangs nicely and is comfortable to wear. I like the sleeves which are a good length to cover the upper arms. So pleased that I was able to order the long length which comes to mid knee otherwise it would have been too short.” Another added: “Nice colours, good shape. And the best bit is it doesn’t crease up like a sack. Just has kind of gentle lineny waveyness that still looks good after hours of wearing.” A third said: “Basic summer linen dress, had several over the years, nice to have a short sleeve, but no pockets so could be improved.” However, one customer was unhappy with its “baggy and shapeless” style, writing: “This is disappointing, it was so big and shapeless for a 14 , slipping off my shoulders. I am usually that size. The fabric was thin and very creased . What a shame as I was wanting a smart navy shift dress.” Find out more and order the linen dress via the M&S website here. Alternatively, Amazon has a Lpecmin Midi A-Line Linen Sundress for £22.99 that has pockets. And New Look has 33 percent off an apricot stone linen-look dress, which is reduced from £30 to £20.
