– Dr.Mayank Agnihotri The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Class 12 Chemistry theory exam for 70 marks.
Students must be in the last leg of their preparation.
The CBSE 2024 board exams will begin on February 15.
Certain strategies can be followed to score better in Class 12 Chemistry.
Streamlining the CBSE Class 12 chemistry syllabus will also enable the student to have an edge in the CUET UG 2024 exam.
Students taking the exam in 2024 can follow these strategies to streamline their preparation in the last month.

Know the chapters, topics, and marking scheme.
– For this session, the exam question paper will be prepared from 10 chapters.
– In organic Chemistry prepare any one chapter very well, say for the case you are well prepared with Haloalkanes and Haloarenes.
The concept developed with one chapter of Organic Chemistry helps to grasp other chapters of organic Chemistry much more easily as many of the concepts remain the same like resonance, inductive effect, directive influence of functional groups etc.
– Biomolecule is a very easy chapter and requires consistent revision of just 5 minutes everyday once you have prepared it.
– In case of d and f Block elements, keep the periodic table and analyse the trends along with changes in electronic configuration.
I assure you will be able to generate logical answers for reasoning-based questions based on oxidizing and reducing properties and stability of oxidation states.
– Prepare at least 10-15 coordination compounds nomenclature along with calculation of oxidation state, you will be able to solve all the questions related to IUPAC nomenclature of Coordination compounds.
CFT should be prepared to explain the coloured exhibited by coordination compounds.
– Physical chemistry concepts should be prepared with the help of short notes.
– Formulas of each chapter should be written on a page and further solve all the numericals given in NCERT with the help of formulas.
– Chemistry builds on foundational knowledge, so ensure a strong grasp of the basics.
– Practice solving previous years’ question papers to understand the exam pattern and gain familiarity with the types of questions asked – Regularly revise your notes and important formulas.
– Create concise summary notes for quick revision before the exam.
– If you have any doubts, clarify them with your teachers or classmates promptly.
– Maintain a healthy lifestyle with adequate sleep, proper nutrition, and regular exercise.
